Meet Analisa
ALD Professional Editing Services, LLC is owned and operated by Analisa Denny. She graduated from the University of North Texas in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in English, with a dual emphasis in creative writing and English literature.

I’m an adopted Texan, but I often daydream about escaping and living in the Highlands of Scotland or somewhere in Hawaii.
I began to edit professionally in 2011, and while my primary work was in academics, I always held a special place in my heart for fiction. I transitioned to freelance literary editing in 2012, working with literary agents and a traditional publishing company. Over the next several years, I continued with all business by referral and word of mouth.
In 2017, I shifted my focus to primarily work with indie authors, and I’m beyond thrilled to be a part of that community.
I live with my husband and two children in the sweltering Texas heat. When I don’t have a red pen in my hand, I enjoy barbell training, eating tacos, and watching competitive swimming and Premier League Soccer. I can always be bribed with cookies, a good single malt scotch, and the skulls of my enemies.
