“The first draft of anything is shit.” — Ernest Hemingway
I both work and read in multiple genres, but have a particular focus in young adult, dystopian, new adult, contemporary romance, fantasy and its sub-genres: paranormal romance, urban fantasy, dark fantasy, high fantasy. While no editor can guarantee perfection and error-free work, I will strive to deliver excellence.
This service provides the author with an extensive editorial memo that includes the editor's critique of overall readability, generalized plot holes, character evaluations, suggestions for story arc, and addressing questions or concerns the author may have about their manuscript.

Contact me for Developmental Editing
This is a combined service I provide, as line and copy are generally two different categories. This service will include correcting spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, and word usage. I’ll make changes to sentence structure and dialogue for better flow and readability while preserving the meaning and the voice of the author. Correction to inconsistencies in style and spelling, missing words and typos, as well as minor formatting issues will also be addressed. The author always has final say in any changes made.

I recommend authors hire a professional proofreader once line editing is completed. It is never advised that an editor proofread the work they have edited. If you are in need of proofreader referrals, please contact me.
While focusing on pamphlets, websites, email blasts, business proposals, client service letters, blog posts, and web publications, we will ensure your audience receives your written word without the distractions of grammar, syntax, punctuation, formatting, and spelling errors.
Business needs vary dramatically by company and client.
